Qianwei Jasmine Tea's fragrance wafts internationally; Leshan City Import and Export Chamber of Commerce assists in the successful shipment of the first order.

On the afternoon of November 3, the inaugural shipment ceremony for Qianwei County's mid-to-high-end jasmine tea exports was held in Jianwei County. Co-hosted by the Jianwei County People's Government, Leshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Leshan Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, this event marked Jianwei jasmine tea's official entry into the international premium tea market, opening a new chapter for Leshan-made specialty agricultural products in global markets.

Following the dispatch order announced by Gan Shilun, Deputy Secretary of the Qianwei County Party Committee, the first batch of mid-to-high-end jasmine tea, carrying the fragrance of a thousand-year-old tea tradition, officially set off for markets in Hong Kong, China, Russia, and Malaysia. Among these, the initial shipment included 2 million cups of mid-to-high-end jasmine tea destined for Russia, with total orders exceeding 50 million cups.

The successful execution of this export order represents another significant achievement by the Leshan Import and Export Chamber of Commerce in continuously promoting local enterprises' international expansion. Since conducting industrial research in Qianwei this April, the Chamber has actively facilitated the establishment of its Qianwei Branch. It has organized multiple rounds of trade matchmaking and exhibition activities for enterprises in Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, and Russia, precisely building cross-border cooperation bridges. Collaborating with Leshan Customs, it assisted local tea companies in obtaining export registration qualifications, transforming order intentions into tangible results.

In her address, Hu Ying, President of the Leshan Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, stated that this inaugural shipment represents not only a “breakthrough move” for Jianwei's jasmine tea industry but also a pivotal leap for Leshan's specialty agricultural products—shifting from “local production advantages” to “global market presence” and establishing a “frontline foothold” for overseas market entry. She emphasized that the Chamber will continue leveraging its platform and liaison functions to promote more high-quality agricultural products “produced in Leshan and made in Qianwei”—particularly specialty industries like “two flowers and one leaf”—to expand into international markets. This will achieve a comprehensive upgrade from “single-product breakthroughs” to “systematic overseas expansion.”

Marking the beginning of this shipment, the Leshan Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export will strengthen ties with its Jianwei branch, foster collaboration among domestic and international business associations and resource channels, continuously optimize enterprise service mechanisms, and propel more local products into the Belt and Road Initiative and global mainstream markets. This initiative will inject sustained momentum into Leshan's high-level opening-up and high-quality foreign trade development.
