Key Highlights
Rare Pre-Qingming First Harvest
Picked during the short, prized window before Qingming, this tea is crafted exclusively from the very first tender buds of early spring. Harvested once a year, in a single season, it represents the purest expression of spring freshness.
High-Mountain Ecological Tea Gardens
Grown in mist-covered high-altitude gardens, where cooler temperatures and clean mountain air allow the buds to develop greater vitality and higher natural content, resulting in a more refined and vibrant green tea.
Artisan Hand-Crafted Selection
Produced using traditional techniques refined by modern quality standards. Each leaf is hand-selected and carefully shaped, ensuring uniform appearance, integrity, and premium consistency.
Tasting Notes
Dry Leaf: Sparrow-tongue shaped, straight and plump, vibrant jade green with fine silvery hairs
Liquor: Bright yellow-green, crystal clear—resembling a mountain spring in early spring
Aroma: Pronounced roasted chestnut notes with a delicate hint of young orchid
Taste: Fresh, smooth, and well-balanced; rich chestnut sweetness fills the palate, followed by a quick, long-lasting sweet finish
Infused Leaves: Tender, evenly green buds and leaves; whole, supple, and lively
Brewing Recommendations
Teaware: Glass cup or white porcelain gaiwan (ideal for observing leaf movement and liquor color)
Water Temperature: Around 85°C (185°F) using spring or purified water
Leaf Ratio: 3–4g of tea, fill water to about 70%
Brewing Method:
Steep for 1–2 minutes for the first infusion.
May be re-infused 3–4 times with stable flavor performance.
Tip: No rinsing required—the first infusion delivers the essence of the tea.
Rarity & Seasonal Value
Harvested before Qingming, after the tea trees have rested through winter and accumulated rich nutrients, these early spring buds are exceptionally tender and scarce.
With naturally low yields and meticulous hand selection, this tea has long been regarded as precious—often described as “Pre-Qingming tea is worth its weight in gold.”
Whether enjoyed as a personal seasonal indulgence or presented as a refined gift, this is a tea that captures the freshness, elegance, and quiet luxury of early spring.
