Jasmine Black Tea · Floral Charm, Sweet and Mellow
Core highlights:
Dual-process integration: Using black tea as the base, the traditional jasmine tea steaming process is adopted. Through multiple jasmine infusions, the fresh and lively floral fragrance of jasmine is deeply integrated into the rich and full-bodied essence of the black tea. The tea aroma and floral aroma blend seamlessly.
Complex flavor layers: It combines the honey sweetness and smoothness of black tea with the freshness, elegance, and lasting freshness of jasmine. The taste is rich and harmonious, with a long-lasting fragrance.
Aesthetic tea soup: The soup color is bright and red, with a distinct golden ring. It is clear and transparent, offering a dual enjoyment of both vision and taste.
Flavor Tasting
Dried Tea: The tea leaves are tightly twisted and dark greenish-brown, with a hint of golden hairs. Occasionally, there are clean, white jasmine dry flower petals scattered among them, presenting a pleasing appearance and color.
Aroma: When opening the bag, the aroma of jasmine is fresh and delicate. On closer sniffing, there is a sweet and mellow honey fragrance typical of black tea as the base, with the two aromas blending together, creating a rich and pleasant scent.
Tea Color: The tea is bright red with a golden tint, clear and bright, with a lustrous and warm appearance like jade.
Taste: Upon taking a sip, the tea is smooth and rich. The fresh fragrance of jasmine emerges first, followed by the sweet and mellow flavor of black tea gradually unfolding in the mouth. The fusion of floral and tea flavors progresses, leaving a lingering floral fragrance and a long-lasting sweet and mellow taste.
Leaf base: The leaf base is uniformly bright red, soft and full of vitality, with the floral fragrance still lingering.
Brewing Suggestions
Equipment: The preferred options are white porcelain covered bowls or purple clay teapots, which are conducive to concentrating the aroma and fully showcasing the layers of the tea infusion.
Water Temperature: 90-95℃ hot water is recommended. It can fully stimulate the internal quality of the black tea and the jasmine fragrance.
Tea-to-Water Ratio: It is suggested to use a ratio of 1:40 (for example, 4g of tea with 160ml of water). You can adjust according to your preference for the strength of the infusion.
Brewing: There is no need to rinse the tea. For the first infusion, quickly pour out the tea, awakening the aroma; for the second to fourth infusions, let them steep for 8-10 seconds before pouring out, and each subsequent infusion can be appropriately prolonged. The tea can be brewed up to 6-8 times.
Tips: You can also try brewing in a glass pot. It allows you to enjoy the bright red tea infusion and the unfolding of the tea leaves, adding a unique charm.
Rare Attributes
Jasmine Black Tea is a masterful creation that blends different tea types. Its production requires precise control over the fermentation degree of the black tea and the timing of the jasmine infusion. It must retain the rich essence of the black tea while allowing the fresh and fragrant aroma of jasmine to naturally permeate. The process is complex and the yield is low. The finished product combines the smooth and comforting texture of black tea with the elegant fragrance of flower tea. It is a distinctive and excellent product among floral-type black teas.
